3 Cozy Coffee Recipes to enjoy this holiday season

‘Tis the season for holiday beverages! While a dash of pumpkin spice may bring on all the festive feels, the coffee you choose to pair it with impacts more than just your tastebuds. Sustainably-Spiced Pumpkin Latte 

1 cup of milk

1 tablespoon of pumpkin puree

1 tablespoon of sugar or honey

½  tablespoon of vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves) 

¼ cup of Lion’s Blend brewed

A plop of whipped cream 

Heat the milk, pumpkin, and sugar in a saucepan until warm. Do not boil. Remove from the stovetop and whisk in the remaining ingredients adding Lion’s Blend at the end. Top it off with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice

Mount Gorongosa Minty Mocha 

¼ cup milk of choice

3 tablespoons of honey or sugar

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

¾ cup of Speak For The Trees brewed

½-1 full peppermint candy cane 

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Heat milk, cocoa powder, and sugar or honey in a saucepan until warm. Do not boil. Remove from the stovetop, add Speak for the trees and stir in remaining ingredients.

Greater Impact Gingerbread Latte 

2  tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoons molasses

¼ teaspoon ground ginger

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

A dash of baking soda

3 tablespoons milk of choice

3 tablespoons whipped cream 

¼  cup of Girls Run The World

Mix together brown sugar, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, and baking soda and refrigerate covered for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove from the refrigerator and add to the hot cup of Girls Run The World. Stir in milk and finish with whipped cream or ice cream.
