We're here to create a world where people and the planet can thrive together. In 2015, the Gorongosa Project partnered with green bean coffee experts and local farmers to plant coffee and native rainforest trees on Mount Gorongosa. Today, more than 600 farmers are planting 200,000 coffee trees per year and 100,000 rainforest trees alongside them! We purchase our green coffee beans directly from these local farmers, giving them a sustainable source of income that helps them support their families, send their children to school, and save for the future.
