This single origin is the first of its kind in Mozambique. When we started the Gorongosa Coffee Project, most of our farmers were tea-drinkers who had never tried coffee. We connected them with Arabica coffee experts who shared their skills to teach them the ins and outs of coffee production. Today, we work with more than 850 local farmers who earn a sustainable income from their coffee harvests. And they grow a top-notch bean — our coffee is Q-graded and consistently scores as specialty.
